Meet Gladys
My husband died in November of 2021 from illness. Like many widows, I was suddenly faced with a life I didn’t recognize, one that asked more of me than I ever thought I could give.
In the midst of that heartbreak, I found an unexpected way forward. With the support of a life coach and a deep commitment to my own growth, I began to rebuild. The life I have now is different from the one I had before, but it still holds meaning, connection, and even joy.
I have learned that grief does not go away, but we do grow around it. We become more resilient, more present, and more compassionate with ourselves and with the world around us. Through this journey, I discovered a quiet strength within me, a trust in my own intuition, and a deep belief that life can be rich and beautiful again.
Before this part of my life began, I spent more than twenty years working as an instructional coach in schools. I helped teachers recognize what was already working and make thoughtful shifts to grow from there. I learned how to listen deeply, ask honest questions, and walk beside someone as they found their own way forward.
That is the same approach I bring to coaching widows today. I do not believe in rushing grief or trying to fix what is not broken. I believe in honoring the full experience of loss and creating space to explore what is still possible.
If you are trying to figure out what life looks like now, I am here to offer support and presence while you find your way.
